Eileen is due to appear at the RT Booklovers Convention Book Fair at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Resort in Downtown Los Angeles between 8-9 April 2011.

Eileen will be taking part in the ‘TV Soaps: Secrets from the Inside’ workshop as a panellist alongside General Hospital’s Jacklyn Zeman and Carolyn Hennesy as well as the former head-writer for Days of Our Lives, Sheri Anderson on the Friday and will be signing autographs at the book fair on the Saturday; a full schedule is available below.

Friday, 8 April: Secrets from the Inside Workshop (1.30 – 2.30pm)
Saturday, 9 April: Autograph Session at the Book Fair

This afternoon Eileen confirmed, on twitter, that she did not submit herself for the pre-nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards 2011.

Eileen confessed that she felt that she hadn’t “worked much” on The Young and the Restless over the past year, which lead to the decision not to submit herself. She then thanked fans for their support.

 

 

Here’s hoping that 2012 will be the year that we see Eileen win a Daytime Emmy
for her role as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless, which would be her first.
